online library with a powerful search and reservation system.

How does this work?

When using Librarika, here are a few tips and hints to enhance your experience:

Since all of our circulation is related to Orchids use specific terms to search. 

Tip #1: On the Catalog page-select “Category” this will limit the books to everything in that category, for example “Orchid culture” vs “Genera”.

Tip #2:  All of our books have descriptions, some provided by the publisher and others drafted from the book.   Select “Search catalog” on the top menu and then in the search bar select the last items “Description” to search for the widest descriptions in the database.   Then explore the other search options like author, publisher, titles.

Other General library usage tips:

• Verify your account details: Ensure your personal information like contact details and address are updated on your library account.

• Place holds: If a book is unavailable, place a hold to be notified when it becomes available.
• Renew items online: Extend your borrowing period by renewing items directly through the Librarika platform.

• Create personal lists: Make lists of books you want to read or research later by saving them to your personal list.
• Rate and review books: Share your thoughts about books by leaving reviews to help other users.

• Set notifications: Enable notifications to receive reminders about due dates or holds availability.
